pelican launched last night with a pop-up at pine & crane in silverlake! pelican is "taiwanese popup dinners focused on familiar southern taiwanese flavors, presented in new ways."

while i was sad to see black hogg go, i'm so so so excited for ohana poke co, which just took over half the space. why? i'm currently obsessed with poke.

only a couple weeks after blue bottle coffee opened their echo park location, alfred coffee opened up a cute little shop in silverlake! love the coffee love that the east side is getting.
knuckle & claw in silverlake.
i stopped by newly opened knuckle & claw on a sunday afternoon. it's managed to make itself a nice little haven amongst bike and auto shops on sunset boulevard.
