another great meal we had in torshavn was barbara fish house. the building is very old and cave-like, which really just translates to warm and cozy.
salmon tartare, olives, red pepper
scallop ceviche, cucumber, jalapeno, coriander.
tomato salad, almonds, anchovies.
as implied by the name, the menu is very seafood-centric, but definitely on the casual and comforting side of things. i really enjoyed the abundance of fresh vegetables, and after a day of exploring in the cold and wind, the fish soup was particularly nourishing.
